The first caution of the night came on lap 12 with the #12 and #02 spinning in Turn 2. The field resumed green flag racing at lap 15 for two laps, as Peyton Sellers in the #26 and Michael Kidd in the #49 made contact going into Turn 4. Donley in the #5 and Tam Topham in the #8 continued to widen the gap, as they led the field. By lap 50, Majors climbed 6 spots to the 15th position during a long green flag run. A yellow flag for debris showed on lap 70, also bringing the field back together by lap 75 for the green.
