JR Motorsports late model compete at New River Valley Speedway

(South Boston, VA) The JR Motorsports late model team competed in the 100 lap NASCAR Dodge late model division race Saturday at New River Valley Speedway in Radford, VA.  Only having raced at NRVS once in 2003, the team felt confident with a full day of testing on Friday.

Starting in 14th position, the team worked its way up to finish 11th. TJ said "The car handled really well and got into the corners good but we were losing momentum down the straight-aways". Horsepower was definitely a factor this weekend for the team.

TJ Majors and the #17 team will head to South Boston Speedway for Saturday's
Pepsi Late Model Stock 110.  South Boston Speedway will also host the ARCA Remax series this weekend.
